Uummannaq lies 600 km north of the Arctic Circle, known as Greenland’s ‘heart’ for its striking heart-shaped mountain backdrop.
Wander the colourful settlement of peat houses, discover traditional fishing and hunting practices, visit the Qilakitsoq museum and granite church, and meet the close-knit community that calls this dramatic coastline home.

Remarks/requirements: If you wish to purchase any souvenirs, please bring Danish kroner.
Walking or Activity information: Up to guests' discretion; all locations in the community are close together, apart from the dog yard which is 1.2 km walk.
Wheelchair accessible: No
Language availability: Greenlandic, Danish, and a little English
